Got Questions?

  • Teeth in need of cleaning will often have a milky brown or yellow buildup. Your dog’s breath may be smelly and their gums can look red or inflamed. If you aren’t sure, give me a call and I can take a look for you.

  • Believe it or not, most dogs are great to work with!

Known biters or dogs with aggressive behaviours may not be eligible for treatment however, I always like to meet your pet to see if my services are a viable option for them.

Any pets with serious oral health issues will be referred to a vet for treatment.

This service is complemental to veterinary care, and, in conjunction with regular visits to your local vet, I can assist with keeping your pup’s palate in great shape.

  • I use dental grade hand scalers, the same as what you see in your dentist’s office, to remove the buildup from your dogs teeth. I use coconut oil and guaze pads for polishing and finish with a bovine based fatty acid gum rub for cell regeneration, periodontal healing and the added bonus of joint health!

(All equipment is sterilised after each use.)

  • There is no pain felt by your best friend. How do I know? I won’t put Fido through anything I am not prepared to experience myself. I have tested all the equipment on myself and my own dog ( and might I say that our teeth have never looked better =).

  • TEETH : You can bring your dog to me in Mordialloc OR I can come to you and treat your dog in their own home.

  • I am trained in dog behaviours and well versed in the art of dog whispering. Which sounds quite mystical but it is simply a series of communications with your dog to help calm them and encourage trust.

Some dogs like to be wrapped in a towel like a cute doggy burrito (similar to a thunder vest) for security, others like to lie on their side and some prefer sitting up.

The first portion of any session with your dog is spent getting to know each other and understanding what will work for them.

  • Each appointment is allocated 1.5hrs. This allows me to work with dogs in their own time . Depending on your dog’s temperament and their stage of oral health, actual cleaning time can vary from 30 mins to the full 1.5hrs.

  • The cost of treatment is broken down over the course of a year.

    ie. first appointment $340

Should your dog need more frequent attention than an annual clean I will then break down the cost.

ie. next visit is 6 months from 1st visit, cost will be halved to $170.

  • Clean Canines has a 48hr Cancellation / No Show Policy.
I understand you have a busy schedule and I am often able to fill the gap left by your appointmenmt or reschedule your appointment if I am given advance notice.

My booking system will notify you of your pooch’s appointment 2 days prior.

Should you cancel or change your appointment inside the 48 hour window, I do request a payment of 50% of the booking fee.
